When it begins, I was thinking that they maybe didn't animate Kizuna Ai, but asked requested her to create this scene through actual Vtuber Equipments.

Because... it just... really feels like I'm watching her vtuber video rather than one that's being animated, very real lmao

Sorry to be that person, but compared to Kizuna's song vid that 3D model and animation they used for Miracle's song was terrible, especially how the hair moved. This would be acceptable in some generic Aikatsu clone series, but Kizuna Ai is kind of a brand name and I honestly expected... something better?

I mean, it is obvious that wasn't something animated, but recorded using vtuber devices.

People who watched vtuber videos should be able to notice this.
And Kizuna Ai's song doesn't look like animated too, notice something strange there? For the movement looks the same as in her stream.

This anime trailer had been released long ago and people already knew that Kizuna Ai character or name is some sort of special guest stuff here, that's why it has to be her.

But, I don't know about the avatar, maybe for anime version purpose?

The only animation that ever done was when they aren't doing Vtuber stuff (so, cut the Kizuna Ai part and Miracle vtuber stream)

Kizuna AI's was recorded with equipment, but then cleaned up afterwards by animators. The other girl's looks live. And come on, anybody who plays "Just Dance" for a few weeks could dance better than that, especially the compared to the other girl.

Well let's give it some time. It's just hoping for WIT to bounce back and up their game but it's better than nothing

Understandable, it's not the best, but I see a justifiable reason behind this. They're in school learning and not a big corporation like Kizuna Ai, so I think it makes sense they have a cheaper setup(?) LOL
Either that or the company didn't want the same level equipment as it mightve been expensive so went with the current choice instead haha

We can't be sure of Kizuna Ai was the first vtuber ever or not.
But, one thing for sure is that she is a pioneer and have great contribution to Vtuber world like others from her generation including Tokino Sora of Hololive

Kizuna Ai was one of my first and last vtubers I ever watched. Hearing "Domo! Kizuna Ai Desu!" Brought back a lot of good, fun memories :')
Wasn't expecting a short performance from her either! That made me so happy!

Nostalgia aside, this was a decent first ep. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting the avatar incorporation into the anime, but it wasn't as bad considering they're all in school learning how to be idols

I'll be sticking around for this, mostly cause some of the songs actually sound good, and I'm curious as to how Kizuna Ai is associated with this other than just name haha
